The "Wisdom Within" Interview with Andrea Fagenholz, Certified Hypnotherapist & Advanced EFT Practitioner

We're excited to share our first interview with Andrea Fagenholz, Hypnotherapy & EFT specialist who helps people access their subconscious, regulate emotions and rediscover natural healing.
1. In a world filled with constant advice, trends, and outside opinions, how do you personally distinguish between external noise and your own inner wisdom?

I close my eyes and tune into my heart. Do I actually feel drawn to this or am I just “trying to keep up”? Each person is unique, a good thing for someone else might not be a good thing for you. 

2. What are some practical ways you encourage people to reconnect with their intuition and trust themselves more deeply in their daily lives?

Slow down. In such a fast pace society, when we slow we open the opportunity to hear, see and feel more. It might feel hard, impossible even at times - yet those are the times we need it most. We can all give ourselves even just 5 minutes a day to pause. See what it opens up for you. 

3. You previously worked in the corporate world, where burnout and stress are common. For someone feeling stuck in that cycle, what’s one small step they can take today to begin shifting their mindset and emotional triggers?

EFT tapping and understanding of your subconscious mind! When I worked for a “Big Four” public accounting firm, I felt as though burn out, stress and complete depletion was just “what I signed up for”. I didn’t discover nervous system work until the tail end of my corporate career and WOAH it changed everything. My whole world flipped in the best most beautiful and empowering way. The change was so transformative that I knew part of my purpose was to share these tools with others in similar positions. If you don’t already know or practice EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) I highly recommend you try it out! It brings peace and clarity among any chaos. 4. Stress and emotions impact our physical health, skin and bodies as well — Can you give an example of how you’ve seen mindset changes impact the physical health of those you help in your practice?

I’ve seen physical pain disappear with just 1 session of EFT tapping. Our mind and body are incredibly intelligent and intuitive, we just have to give them the opportunity to support us. One way of doing that is EFT but there are so many tools! I love meditation, guided imagery, journaling, silent walks. 
In my opinion emotions impact everything. If we don’t take the time to acknowledge our emotions and give them space to be heard, they will be stored and create stagnation in our body which in turn can translate to a wide array of health challenges.
5. Self care routines, including skincare practices, are a great opportunity to turn something mundane into a ritual that inspires slowing down and reconnecting with yourself. How can people use mindfulness or learnings from your work to turn simple routines into something more meaningful?

In addition to EFT tapping I also utilize Guided Imagery. I have over 20 different recordings on my website - all with different intentions but same overarching goal - deeper connection to self, peace and clarity. The recordings also encourage play and curiosity which I think is something we all need a little more of.
Healing and self care doesn’t have to be expensive or complex - turn on your favorite song and move, shake, sing, scream. Go lay in the grass, watch the clouds, look at a flower. Find beauty, calm and curiosity in the simple thing that we have around us daily.

I don’t go anywhere without my hibiscus and honey lip butter!! And use natural mama tallow butter daily for myself and my 2 little girls!
