Sunny Days has an spf of 30+ which is from the higher percentage of non-nano zinc oxide and organic coconut oil. Coconut oil is a wonderful saturated fat that provides UV protection and has a natural spf around 7. It can be used on the face, especially for babies & kids. Sunny Days also has a higher percentage of beeswax, making it more water resistant. 

Note coconut oil can be comedogenic for some and should not be used on the face for anyone who is acne prone.

This creamy and smooth tallow sunscreen is made with the best ingredients that are healing and nourishing for your skin. Non-nano zinc oxide provides safe physical sun protection because it sits on the skin without being absorbed into the bloodstream. It is also lightly naturally tinted with Hawaiian astaxanthin (a powerhouse antioxidant) and organic powdered calendula & hibiscus. The fats and herbs used are photo-safe and do not oxide (spoil) when exposed to light and heat as many other oils and essentials oils can. Oxidation causes premature skin damage and wrinkles. The addition of herbs help to protect, soften and rejuvenate the skin.
